Board game fanatic, dog Instagrammer and all-round inspiration Kate Herron is an incredibly talented Writer-Director working across a huge breadth of genres. In 2018, Herron directed the wildly successful Netflix Original, SEX EDUCATION and went on to helm Marvel Studios’ LOKI starring Tom Hiddleston in 2021. She has also directed a number of short films that have played at London Film Festival, Palm Springs Shortsfest, Encounters and Flickerfest - her latest short SMEAR, a comedy-horror satirising smear-tests proved she was a god of mischief herself, as it was described by Paul Feig (of BRIDESMAIDS) as “Very Funny.” Herron is currently working on a number of projects with her writing partner Briony Redman, including a tv-show with Home Team MISS UNIVERSE, a comedy-horror about a beauty pageant under alien attack.  Not all super heroes wear capes, some wear t-shirts.
